Advocacy & IEP Support

IEP Team Collaboration & Inclusive Learning Environments

KlaverKind’s IEP Team Collaboration & Inclusive Learning Environments service provides hands-on support for families navigating the special education process and working alongside school teams to create meaningful, effective plans. We serve as IEP consultants and collaborative team members—helping interpret evaluations, develop goals, and ensure students receive the support they need to succeed. Our focus is on building inclusive learning environments where neurodivergent students are understood, supported, and given real access to growth, independence, and opportunity.

The Klaver.Kind. Approach

Navigating the special education system shouldn't require a law degree. We bridge the gap between families and schools.

Understanding the Challenge

The special education system is overwhelming. IEP and 504 documents are filled with jargon, and meetings can often feel adversarial. Simultaneously, students with learning differences often struggle with the "hidden curriculum" of school—organization, planning, and task initiation.

How We Support You

We support families in identifying opportunities that align with each child’s strengths and interests, while actively working to remove barriers to access. This includes facilitating positive, collaborative relationships between families, schools, and service providers—helping create communication that is clear, respectful, and focused on the student’s success. We guide families through complex IEP processes, including evaluations, understanding LRE (Least Restrictive Environment), ensuring FAPE (Free and Appropriate Public Education), and developing appropriate accommodations, modifications, goals, and service delivery models. Our work is centered on closing the opportunity gap between general education and special education students, while also building the capacity of IEP team members to better support the whole child. The goal is not just academic progress, but long-term success—helping each child access meaningful learning, build independence, and thrive in all areas of life.
